The Poppy of Honour Memorial is a Non-Profit Limited Company by Guarantee.
Fundraising from sales of our own merchandise, displays, talk shows and transporting to locations for the People to see the Memorial..
All monies raised from donations and merchandise sales is used to pay for merchandise and Transportation of the Memorial to locations where its displayed until its permanent installation.
Through our video/chat presentation we tell the story behind the creation of the memorial. Te video/talk presentation is through education we give everyone an insight into how the Great War not only saw four empires destroyed also the impact the conflict had on the World and Society.
The Memorial is owned by the Citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Northern Ireland including all other Realms and Territories of His Majesty King Charles III, and All Commonwealth Countries.
The group are legally and solely responsible for the maintenance, and of the displaying the of the Poppy of Honour Memorial
The aim is through education to all generations the effect the Great War 1914 - 1918 had on society and the changed the World.
The Memorial will installed inside a glass atrium within a purpose built pavilion for everyone to view free of charge..
The Memorial has encased inside 1,117,635 individual remembrance poppies, each poppy was handwritten to bear the Rank, Name and Date of every British and Commonwealth serviceman/woman listed by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission as either Killed, Missing or died of wounds sustained during World War I. Including Civilians killed by the shelling by the German Grand Fleet and Zeppelin bombing attacks. Also included are the 306 soldiers "Shot at Dawn" for cowardice pardoned in 2007, their Rank, Name and Date of execution were handwritten onto remembrance poppies.
The memorial is currently a registered War Memorial and when installed in its permanent location at Somerset Wood, in Maidenbrook Country Park, West Monkton, Taunton, TA2 8JT it will become the WW1 National and Commonwelath Memorial, the only one of its kind in the UK and the World.

The Royal British Legion kindly gave permission to include their Remembrance Poppy image within the Memorial during its construction in 2018 for the Centenary of World War I.
The Poppy of Honour Group use the POPPY word mark and RBL two petal Poppy Logo, including in the Memorial its self, is made under license from the Royal British Legion, though is not otherwise connected with or endorsed by them.....
